Stefanie Schirmer is an archaeological technician at the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology. She works in the botany laboratory (micro- and macrobotany) and the ZooMS/MALDI laboratory.

Stefanie’s specializations include maintaining and operating stereo and digital microscopes, imaging on the scanning electron microscope (SEM), and preparing research samples for processing.
